Residential Groundworks

D Hall Plant Hire & Groundworks completed comprehensive groundworks for a double garage in Kelly Bray, near Callington, Cornwall. After winning the bid through a site visit and free quotation, we performed all groundwork services according to architectural and structural engineer specifications.

The project included excavation for the works, foundation excavation, ongoing liaison with building inspectors, electric and drainage ducting installation, blockwork up to slab height, Type 1 stone importation for sub-base, sand blinding, reinforcing mesh placement, and a power floated C35 concrete slab. The storm drainage system featured a soakaway crate system with associated pipework.

All excavated material was transported off-site to a licensed disposal facility, demonstrating our commitment to proper environmental waste management standards. The project showcased our capability in handling complete groundwork solutions from initial site clearance through final concrete finishing, with meticulous attention to building code compliance throughout.
