Tarmac Driveway
Complete tarmac driveway installation from groundworks excavation to final surface finish in Holsworthy, Devon
Project Overview
D Hall Plant Hire & Groundworks completed tarmac resurfacing work at the South West Ambulances depot in Holsworthy, Devon. The facility's existing surface had deteriorated significantly with multiple potholes forming, requiring professional resurfacing to maintain operational standards for emergency vehicle access.
We conducted site measurements and provided a full set of RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) which were accepted by South West Ambulance before mobilizing equipment. Using a tarmac planing machine, we removed the deteriorated top tarmac layer, stripping away the compromised asphalt to expose a sound base for the new surface.
We then installed a new SMA (Stone Mastic Asphalt) tarmac surface, providing a durable, long-lasting solution for this critical emergency services facility. This project demonstrates our broader tarmac resurfacing capabilities and structured approach to commercial clients. We encourage potential clients to contact us for site visits and quotations for similar driveway and surface restoration projects.
