This school in Plymouth, Devon was looking for a groundworks contractor to form a new entrance after having some building work carried out inside.
After a brief discussion, they detailed what they proposed. D.Hall Plant Hire & Groundworks measured the area and provided them with a detailed quote.
The job consisted of the following:
- Removal of green waste from the site to a licenced facility
- Excavation of subsoil to a licenced facility
- Concrete back edgers laid on Gen2 Concrete and haunced
- Importation of 150mm of 803 type 1 sub-base and compacted in place
- x1 layer of A252 reinforcing mesh
- 150mm of C35 concrete with a brushed finish
