Domestic project in Polperro, Cornwall. After meeting the homeowner and assessing the situation with the drainage and damp issues we provided a free quote for the works.
After being awarded the project we mobilised our Takeuchi micro digger which is capable of fitting through a 750mm opening. The old clay drains at the rear of the property had failed and the existing manhole chamber kept backing up which could have caused a serious issue if left any longer there were also damp issues within this old cottage. We removed the existing concrete surface, removed the clay drainage, installed new 4″ plastic pipe at a lower level reduced the ground level to help with the damp issue internally and then spread 20mm gravel across the area.
